A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Lemberger
Growing Conditions: 2011 will go down in history as the most unusual growing season in memory. A wet spring gave way to hot, sunny and dry conditions from late June until early August. The end of the season saw plenty of rain, but also enough sun to fully ripen the grapes.
Carefully selected lots of our favorite red wines were blended after a year of barrel aging. Prior to bottling, the sweetness was increased to add a rich mouthfeel and enhance the fruit flavors.
This versatile red pairs effortlessly with pizza, chicken wings, spaghetti and burgers.
